UNOH Open nights
Who’s it for?
Christians who want to be inspired and informed in their discipleship of Jesus in today’s world with other fellow travellers.
What’s it about?
Come and join us for any of these “open nights”. Meet some of the UNOH folk, hear how things are travelling for UNOH, and get input from a much respected teacher in the Christian community.
Location: the UNOH centre, at Factory 2/6-12 Airlie Avenue, Dandenong.
The evenings start at 7.30pm for the conversation with our guests. Please stay for supper at the end of the night. No charge. Just come along!
Our guest speakers and their topics for 2010 are:
March 4th - John Smith speaking, and we also have singer songwriter, Verity Skye launching her new CD (This Open Night is on a Thursday night, the only one for the year. The rest are Wednesday nights).
April 7th – Jim and Julie Reiher – fun night: bring kids along. Clown and magic ministry evening. -
May 5th – Anji Barker - “Empowering your friends and neighbours”
June 2nd - Les Henson – “After 40 years in ministry and on the mission field… lessons learned.”
August 4th – special guest speaker – still confirming. If we get who we are after here, you won’t be disappointed.
September 1st – David Wilson. Topic: “God’s use of friendship: Incarnational ministry in the city.”
October 13th – Ash Barker – “Lessons learnt after 20 years of ministry”
November 10th – Danielle Strickland – “Drawing from our past – dreaming afresh for our future”
December 1st – John Smith – ‘What I’d do more and less of if I had my time all over again’
